Steve came to Stanroy Music Center in 1983 as a salesperson and repair technician. A native Santa Rosan, he graduated from MHS, subsequently attending SRJC, SSU, and the Monroe Institute of Applied Sciences in Afton, Virginia. Steve has been a performing lyrical and instrumental composer since the 50s, and when he's not howling in his digital studio, his non-Stanroy time is well spent as a neo-romance essayist, intercontinental gopher, allware poet, and grandfather.

Gary has been a repairman at Stanroy since 1988. A
graduate of the Allied Music school of instrumental
repair, he specializes in brass and woodwinds, repairing over 950
instruments a year! When not fixing things, Gary plays
tuba in numerous regional ensembles including the 5th Avenue
Brass of which he is a founding member. He also enjoys
the non-musical activities of sailing and cycling.

After playing tenor saxophone on several cruise ships, he spent two and a half years on the road with the Tommy Dorsey big band. At that point, he apprenticed here at Stanroy Music Center's service department and has become a Journeyman instrument repair technician.
